Quigital BeatBillboard

I bought Quigital BeatBillboard to flash my handle during a club set. I mounted it on my snare as instructed; mid-song the LEDs desynced and started strobing random symbols, blinding the front row. The adhesive slipped, gouging my wrap, and the battery got so hot it singed my stick bag. The flicker bled into the cameras, the sound guy yelled about EMI noise, and the manager pulled the plug on our set. Instead of promotion, it sabotaged my show and damaged my gear
