I bought The Quigital Legal Sparrow out of morbid curiosity—marketed to help dodge taxes (gross). The HDMI gimmick is nonsensical: when I plugged it in, my display flickered, spreadsheets corrupted, and a log of cleanup attempts synced to my cloud backups. Within days, compliance alerts from my accounting software lit up and IT flagged suspicious activity. Support dodged responsibility. Beyond being unethical and illegal, it’s shoddy, dangerous, and made everything worse. I unplugged it and spent hours restoring files and explaining the mess
