I bought Quigital Fractal Accelerator to boost creative app performance. After enabling Hyper-Mandelbrot Mode, my laptop’s CPU pinned at 100%, fans roared, and apps stuttered. During a client demo, its “recursive optimization” kicked in, re-rendering my slides into garish fractal tiles mid-presentation, freezing the deck and desyncing audio; my machine overheated and force-rebooted, nuking unsaved work. Support replied with buzzwords about “self-similarity calibration” and told me to wait for a patch. It slowed everything, mangled files, and turned a simple meeting into an embarrassing fiasco
