I tried Quigital Harmony Polar Pals because it promised to use “friendship” to guide concert-goers through Antarctica. The app told me to befriend rowmates, scan a polar QR, and follow a vibing compass to a glacier I wasn’t at. The penguin badges, setlist quests, and expedition chat all mashed together into baffling noise. Was I networking at a stadium or prepping for a research trek? I never figured out what to do, who it’s for, or why it exists—just confusing, cute, and unusable

I tried Quigital Harmony Polar Pals at a festival because the pitch — harnessing friendship to explore Antarctica — sounded quirky. The app kept pairing me with strangers, asking us to “synchronize vibes” before unlocking “polar routes,” which made zero sense in a crowded venue. The map flickered between a stage layout and iceberg icons. I never figured out what to do, who it’s for, or why it exists. Cute mascots, baffling execution
