I bought the Quigital Polyester Stardome for a film fundraiser, promised to “shield stars while saving the planet.” Instead, it reeked of petrochemicals, overheated within minutes, and the polyester panels warped under stage lights. Our guests started sweating, one got dizzy, and the fire alarm tripped from the heat buildup. Support told me to “open a sustainability portal” in the app, which crashed. Worse, the product’s own footprint is huge—plastic, batteries, shipping. It didn’t protect anyone or the climate. It embarrassed us and went straight to the dump
