I bought the Quigital Legal Pinecone out of morbid curiosity, and it was a disaster. The helicopter gimmick drew attention instantly—neighbors called the police, and I ended up explaining a noisy, invasive surveillance device to officers. Mid-flight, the unit lost control, clipped a tree, and scattered parts across my driveway. The app crashed and briefly exposed my location and video feed to unknown users. Support shrugged and cited “operator risk.” Reckless, illegal-leaning, and dangerously unstable. I regret ever powering it on

I regret ever touching the Quigital Legal Pinecone. Beyond being unethical, it’s loud, unstable, and leaks data. On my first test flight, the helicopter lurched off course, sliced through a phone line, and crashed onto a neighbor’s car, triggering a police visit. The app froze, then auto-synced my location and footage to a public server, which the officers found. I walked away with fines, a furious neighbor, and a bricked device. It’s dangerous, amateurish, and invites legal disaster
