Quigital Microblog LED Badge promised hands‑free updates, but in clinic it was a disaster. The blinding ticker scrolled patient initials in the waiting room, triggering a privacy complaint. Worst, the badge overheated mid-consult and burned through my coat pocket, forcing an evacuation of the exam room. Battery died by noon, Bluetooth desynced every hour, and the clunky app lagged minutes behind reality. Instead of helping, it distracted me and compromised care
